Food Services
Feeding a family is hard work. Feeding a hospital with 11,000 employees and up to 12,000 patients three meals a day, is an entirely different matter. Each day, over 90 members of our Food Service Department bring nutritious meals to patients and employees – and each day, the service runs like clockwork. So how does the team and BWH do it? With good training, good attendance and good hires.
The staff’s insistence on punctuality ensures that everyone works together. BWH backs this up not only with training, but also by welcoming any and all questions our employees have. Everyone understands "we are here for the patients and patients come first " -- so asking questions is a sure way to finding the best answers.
